La Orquesta Típica Imperial es una agrupación de jóvenes músicos argentinos, de Buenos Aires (tres bandoneonistas, cuatro violinistas, contrabajista, pianista, y cantante) que encontraron en el tango una música con gran identidad en la que se distinguen como intérpretes, arregladores y compositores, con un estilo marcado, lleno de una riqueza armónica y rítmica capaz de producir fuertes emociones en el público.
La OTI se ha presentado a lo largo de sus giras europeas en escenarios tan importantes como el Festival de Jazz de Montreal, el Summer Stage de Quebec, el Lincoln Center Out of Doors de New York, el Chicago Cultural Center, los teatros Kit Tropentheater y De Doelen de Holanda, el Nacional Palace of Cultura de Sofía, el teatro Victoria Eugenia de San Sebastián, entre otros, además de los festivales de tango más importantes en Argentina y otros países de Latinoamérica y Europa.
